LATE FOR CHART WORK :o

The Day I Overslept For Chart Work Class

First of all thank you for reading my second blog, im finally getting in the flow of this blogger lifestyle .... ofcourse i am lazy af.. but for the sake of computer application assignment lets do this ..... so first off chart work is Terrestrial and Coastal Navigation II taught by our very own tiger , Captain Murugan Maripin. we study chart work in the chart room.... the chart room is the so called "Tigers Cage" So..... by now you should understand that coming late to class is a big no no 😂 sooooooo.... it was a fine Tuesday afternoon, after eating i went back to my cabin to relax for abit before entering the tigers cage....... all i wanted was alittle bit of shut eye .... you see the day before this I slept at 4 am so this is the cause of me oversleeping ... well let me get into what happened

SO.... I woke up at about 1440 hrs ... and class started at 1400 hrs... yes .. I was almost an hour late... soooo i woke up saw the time .. realised I was late . I jumped out of bed put on my uniform .... rushed out of my cabin ... only to realise half way that I had left my chart holder in the locker . So I turned back and I quickly left . As I was hurrily getting to the chart room I was thinking of reasons to get out of this pickle ... so I texted the monitor this week that I was at the Student Affairs office ... but there was no double tick... soooo as I arrived at the chart room .... it turned out that there were 2 other people late as well ... I was so relieved that I was not the only one 😌 😅.  And guess what one of the guy that was late was the monitor Hahaha.

So this was the situation I arrived to at 1447 hrs .... they were late by 2 minutes and they were not allowed to enter the class.... and I was 47 minutes late 😅 I asked them why they were late , and one of them slept off in the class and another one being the monitor was just taking the markers from the classroom... sooooo they said that sir had told them that they can go wherever they wanted and come back by 1500 hrs as they were only allowed to then at 1500 hrs ....soo I came out with a lie and said I arrived only 2 minutes after they were here . Seemed like a fool proof plan so I went with it .

SOOOO as time passed we were just chilling and doing nothing we walked around for a bit as there was 10 minutes left ..we talked about stuff and as it was getting close to 1500 hrs we decided to take a peek in class.

Soooo everyone seems to be learning in there and we are relaxing out here.... ahaha ok so 1500 hrs came and sir let us in... he was surprised at to who 2 people turned into 3 people 🙄.  So i told him the truth that I slept off but I left out the part where I was 47 mins late .. we got in we started learning again . It was the shortest chart work class ever 🤣

Just a little lesson for you guys ... don't ever forget to set and alarm ... and never oversleep and most importantly never come late to classssssss. Thank you for reading my 2nd blog.
