This was my third time went to Redang Island. Located in East coast of Peninsular of Malaysia, Redang is such a miracle place to visit for. Island that so called as heaven of the Earth with crystal-clear water, sure will attract and leave thousands of meaningful memories for those who had been there. For those whose not yet been here or don't know where to have Cuti-Cuti Malaysia during holiday, I suggest to have a look at this wonderful tropical island.

A week before the SPM result came out, my family went to Redang Island. My father drove to Terengganu and reached Jetty Kuala Besut. We took boat to reach the island, it took more than 2 hours or maybe three due to rough sea condition that time. I was a bit seasick and what can i do was just sleep hoping for we get there ASAP and ready for plastic in case of emergency vomit. HUHU, (sumpah tak macho). Upon reach the coastal of Redang, the passengers on board were transferred by a barge because the boat cannot berth there because there is no jetty there. However, it not the check-in time yet so we just waited in front of the chalet hence I took decision to sight seeing first. FYI the locals there use tractor as their land transport, so there were no cars and least motorcycles.

Ok, let just summarize by story. We check in into the chalet where it situated at the corner of the bay. The view at the edge ridge of the bay was so mesmerizing. When talking about holiday in any islands, of course the activity is such Island Hoping. We visited several hotspot of snorkeling and diving areas such as The Marine Park and other common spots around the archipelago. What can I observe based on my past experience in Redang, the aquatic creatures aren't much like before. Not sure either because of the seasons or maybe extinction. If it is because of extinction, I couldn't forgive us, the human that cause such climate changes and illegal or over catching activities that come from our greedy act upon the flora and fauna. Also the water was rough, so the visibility over the seabed was low. However, i found some unique species that I haven't seen before such Carribean Reef squid, it was huge and size like man thigh that make me afraid to get near it. Other than the hotspots you may also snorkel just in front of your hotel around the beach because there also corals and reef creatures. I remember I met a BABY SHARK DUDU when I snorkeled there. You may also find the famous coral creature, the clown fish, NEMO hiding inside the seaweed. I also found a LION FISH but I not get near to it because it a poisonous fish.

My family and I then went sight seeing on the evening to look for merchandise and photos as memories. We viewed the astonishing sunset and enjoyed the family time together.

The night live there was exciting, you can walk around the beach and watch the night life of Redang. Some bars played trap songs with talented DJ's while most of the cafe played steady song like Bob Marley's albums. That night was really alive with strobe light flashing and breeze from the South China Sea. There is a rare spot where you can see blue glittering dust float by the beach that eventually group of plankton that emit blue light in dark.

The last day, I just realized that the sado actor, Norman Hakim and his family from both wives stayed at the same chalet with us. I met him during the breakfast time. After the breakfast, I don't want to miss the chances to take the last view so I warmed up my body and jogged along the beach with barefoot. It was fun run, but I hurt my foot because the I ran on the hard side of the sand. Just wanna feelin like the movies did.
