the current war

hi assalamualaikum gais!!!

during this quarantine i spent my time watching movies and i watched 'the current war' based on true story about the 'war' between alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC).

this movie is a story that tell which current use is better between ac and dc. The inventor of the AC wire system is George Westinghouse and the DC inventor is Thomas Edison. For me this kind of movie is brilliant way to let people know the fact of who invented the ac/dc electric wiring.

the war between them is to sell their work and to prove whose wiring is the better which is ac/dc and lots happened between them such as lost of love ones, family and even money.

this scene is where Thomas Edison want to prove that AC system that belongs to Westinghouse is dangerous and can caused death by do the experiment on a horse. Westinghouse does feel challenged but he ignored at first.

Next, this part is where Edison received a news about westinghouse worker/friends Franklin Pope died from electrical accident. Then it's help Edison more to prove that AC system is dangerous and can kill people.

This scene is where Edison personal assistant Samuel Insull presented behalf of Edison to the biggest light festival at Chicago and convince to used DC instead of AC. Unfortunately Westinghouse presents his competing bid. Due to cheaper costs the organiser, they choose Westinghouse system.
