The Platform is a Netflix thriller movie. It is set in the future but the story is so deep it represents the present.
The whole idea of this movie is about prisoners having housed in vertical cells of a multi storey development. 2 inmates are given a floor each and there is a hole in the middle of the cell.

The is a platform that goes downwards filled with various delicacies of many cuisines. The higher floor inmates get more option with the chouce of food. As the platform goes a floor lower, there is less food for the inmates. It is so bad because the number of floors are over 300 that those at the bottom will starve to death.
Each inmate responses differently and has a different goal from the system. The lead characters' role is to help each floor get enough food.
This movie is deep as it represents society.
We live in a world where there is still hierarchy and there is still privileges. We dont know how we are born and to what environment we are born into. The minute we are born, our whole life is written with certain privileges or certain lackness.

The movie is very deep and i believe everyone will view it differently. At first when you finish watching the movie some may thunk it as boring and simple. But it is after the movie where you start thinking. I won't say much but this is a movie you should watch!
